Brighton and Hove Albion are down to 12th in the Premier League and on a poor run at present. This Sunday sees them hosting Aston Villa who are fourth in the table and on their way to the Champions League. The home side have had hopes of another season in European football next season but that's looking unlikely. The Seagulls are nine points adrift of seventh-placed Chelsea with four league games to play. Their last league fixture saw them lose 3-0 at Bournemouth, their latest heavy defeat. Brighton have gone six league games without a win and lost four of them. Ten goals have been conceded in their last four league games and they've failed to score in the last two. Home form has produced seven league wins this season with three defeats. The last two were against Arsenal and Manchester City and both lost by a combined score of 7-0.

Aston Villa have to bounce back from their 4-2 home loss to Olympiakos in the Europa Conference League on Thursday. It wasn't a totally disastrous evening as ffth-placed Tottenham lost at Chelsea in the  Premier League. That was good news for the Villans as they bid fo clinch a place in next season's Champions League. They go into this weekend's set of fixtures seven points clear of the London side who have a game in hand. After this game, Villa still have to play Liverpool at home before a final league game at Crystal Palace. Unai Emery's side has won eight away league games this season with their only loss in the last seven being inflicted by Manchester City. Villa won the reverse fixture 6-1 and we believe they can complete the league double with a win at the Amex.
