Wolves vs Norwich Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Daniel Ngulu | in Premier League Predictions
After their exploits in Europe, Wolverhampton Wanderers resume Premier League action with a home game against Norwich City this Sunday. Wolverhampton Wanderers head to this Round 27 clash placed eighth with 36 points while Norwich are bottom of the table with 18 points. Wolverhampton Wanderers are fresh from a 4-0 win over Spanish side Espanyol in the Europa League, a result that ended their three-game winless streak. Espanyol are bottom on the La Liga standings and Wolves were expected to run over them; they did it in emphatic fashion. They go on to face another bottom side, Norwich, who are winless in their last three Premier League matches. Wolverhampton Wanderers have shown a lot of promise this season, but at the same time, had to endure winless spells, despite the massive talent at the club. Ahead of the win over Espanyol, they had registered 0-0 draws with Manchester United and Leicester City, having earlier lost narrowly to Liverpool and coming from such a win, they will be motivated well for this clash. Diogo Jota helped himself to a hat trick in the Espanyol game and Wolves will hope to see more of this from him in the coming matches and seeing that a win could come with a three-place leap, we expect Wolves to go for the kill. They will need to improve on their home form after managing just one win in their last five home matches, though it will be understandable, having hosted Liverpool, Leicester and Manchester United in three of the five. Their last home win in the Premier League came in December; in their last three league games at home, Wolves are winless, losing one and drawing two. They have scored in four of the last five home league matches but kept just one clean sheet. Wolves’ main concern this season has been defensive; they have managed just five clean sheets in their 26 Premier League matches, and as a result, they have the least goal difference among the top eight teams. They have scored 35 goals but conceded 32. They are unbeaten in three matches against Norwich and have scored in each of their last five meetings.
Norwich, on the other hand, carry a run of just three wins in 15 matches as they go to this encounter. They have struggled to settle back in the Premier League and they have shown all the signs of a club set for relegation. In 26 matches, they have managed just four wins, and they are the side with the second most porous defence, after Aston Villa. They have conceded 48 in 26 matches. They have a top striker in Teemu Pukki, who has done well, scoring 11 of their 24 goals this season but with that kind of defence, his goals have not helped much, as far as winning points is concerned. They are winless in six straight league matches away from home and have lost nine of their 13 away league matches this season. Out of a possible 39 points, Norwich have managed just six points in their away matches. In their 13 away league matches, Norwich have conceded two or more goals in eight while keeping just three clean sheets.

Our Wolves vs Norwich Prediction
Norwich had no midweek action and we will expect them to come to this game well rested. However, they have not been at their best away from home this season and with just one away win in the league this season we won’t put much hope on them. They take on a side coming from an emphatic win at home and with three straight clean sheets. Wolves will for the third straight game be playing at home and having established a momentum, with draws against Leicester and Manchester United before beating Espanyol, they will be happy to host a side that has struggled a lot away from home. The hosts will also want to improve their home form, having managed one win in the last five. Seeing that Wolves have not lost to Norwich in the last three meetings, a win for them is expected here. Four of their last five meetings have produced over 2.5 goals and going by the two sides’ run of form ahead of this game, we are backing it to yield at least three goals.
