Wolves play host to Norwich at the Molineux Stadium in this penultimate round match of the Premiership. The home team are in eighth position with 50 points while the already relegated visitors are in last position with 21 points. Wolves were thumped 5-1 by Manchester City in their last match which was their fourth defeat in their last five matches. They are now five matches without a win and have fallen five points behind West Ham who occupy the last Europa position. It is almost impossible for them to qualify as they would need West Ham to lose their remaining two games while they must win their last two games. Wolves have never lost a top flight home game against Norwich, winning eight and drawing two. They lost their final home game last season but have not done so in consecutive seasons since 1999.

Norwich have lost their last five matches and are only playing for pride in what has been a very disappointing first season back in top flight football. They have only picked up nine points in their 18 away games which not surprisingly is the worst away record in the league. Goal scoring has been a major problem for them as they have failed to score in their last four matches. Norwich have not won any of their last five matches against Wolves having won four of the previous five. They did however beat Wolves at Molineux earlier this season in the FA Cup, only Manchester City in the 2011/12 season have beaten Wolves twice at home in one season.
