Wolves returned to form with a 2-1 home win over Arsenal on Tuesday. They begin the weekend in 14th but have a tough game at home to third placed Leicester City. Wolves are still 12 points behind the Europa League place but also a dozen above the relegation zone. Unless they have a spectacular run of good or bad form, their main target this season is going to win the FA Cup and qualify for the Europa League. They had gone eight league games without a win before beating Arsenal in midweek. Wolves had to come from behind to get that win, though the Gunners having two players sent off did rather help them. Only one of their last five home league games had been won before that welcome victory.

Leicester City won 2-0 at Fulham on Wednesday to move above Liverpool into third place. They are five points behind league leaders Manchester City, though have played a game more than them. City have a four point lead over fifth and will at least hope to confirm their place in the 2021/22 Champions League, unlike last season. They did well to win in midweek after the disappointing 3-1 home loss to Leeds last weekend. But for their problems at home, they could easily be top of the table. Away form is much better with eight wins out of 11. Their only away league loss has been at Liverpool in late November. They beat Wolves 1-0 in the reverse fixture and complete the double over them.
