With the Premier League heading into the final stretch, each match is becoming increasingly important, especially to the sides at the bottom of the league. Wolves are 13th in the table with Leeds United having only Southampton below them but only four points behind their opponents. The hosts have moved away from the relegation zone after spending most of the season in the bottom three, but they are far from safe, with just three points separating themselves and Bournemouth in 18th place. Wolves lost their last match against Newcastle 2-1, which was their third loss in their last six matches, along with two wins and a draw. However, Wolves have been notably better on their home patch this season, earning 17 points, with five wins, two draws, and six losses in 13 matches, and will be looking to improve that record further with another win in this one. 

Leeds earned a valuable point in their last match against one of the surprise packages of this season, Brighton and Hove Albion, but it was not enough to lift them out of the bottom three. The visitors are currently  one point from safety but also just one point above Southampton at the foot of the table. Over their last six matches, Leeds has recorded just one win, two draws, and three losses. However, their away record has been their major downfall this season, taking only six of a possible 39 points on the road, recording just one win all season and losing nine. Leeds have not won a single away match in their last seven attempts and will know that if they can somehow manage one here, they will almost certainly be out of the relegation zone.
