Wolves vs Brighton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by James | in Premier League Predictions
Wolves continue their push for Champions League football when they take on Brighton in the Premier League this Saturday. Sixth in the table, level on points with fifth-placed Manchester United, Wolves have won three of their last four fixtures. Brighton, meanwhile, must get back into the winning habit if they are to avoid relegation trouble. 15th in the table, they are only five points clear of the drop zone. Yet to win in the Premier League in 2020, Brighton have failed to pick a victory in their last eight matches. They travel to take on a Wolves side whose home record is surprisingly underwhelming. Picking up as many points at Molineux as they have on the road in the Premier League, Wolves have only won five of 14 games in home territory. Plus, Brighton have a good record against Nuno Espirito Santo's team, winning one and losing none of their three previous Premier League encounters.
Those are a number of statistics that will enthuse Graham Potter but the bottom line is that the Seagulls are cawing into the abyss. 2020 is the year of the metal rat and it's currently gnawing on sea bird's wings. In this cursed year, they have to pick up a clean sheet and they have failed to score more than once in seven of their games. Morale is low - the opposite of what morale is like with Wolves. The same Wolves team that powered from behind to win 3-2 at Spurs last week. With all of their best players hitting form at the business end of the season, it's difficult to see anything other than a Wolves win. With odds low on that outcome, we suggest looking at Diogo Jota to score first. The Portuguese forward has six goals in his last three appearances.

Our Wolves vs Brighton Prediction
Brighton are due a break after a fair share of poor luck has left them on the brink of the relegation zone. However, we don't see a break coming at Molineux, not against a Wolves side with so many in-form players. Raul Jimenez, Adama Traore and Matt Doherty are all dangermen for the hosts. We suggest sticking an anytime bet on Diogo Jota to keep up his fine scoring form.
