Even though Real Madrid became the first side to beat Barcelona since October of last year, the Champions League remains their best chance of winning a trophy this year.  They still trail Barcelona by seven points so a title win in Spain isn't too likely. Their form in the Champions League this season has been outstanding. They won their group with five wins and a draw at PSG and then comfortably disposed of AS Roma in the last sixteen. Only Real and Barcelona are still unbeaten in the Champions League this season. They travel to a Wolfsburg side who are in their first Champions League quarter final. Home form has been the most important aspect of their voyage to the last eight. They have won all four of their games with wins over Gent. Manchester United, PSV Eindhoven and CSKA Moscow. Wolfsburg are struggling to qualify for Europe next season and have lost two of their last three Bundesliga games including a 3-0 defeat at Leverkusen last Friday. Madrid obviously have the stronger squad, get results away from home and can beat Wolfsburg here to all but seal a place in the last four.
