Wolfsburg dropped to third in the Bundesliga after losing to Hoffenheim last weekend. They look to get back into winning ways when hosting 11th placed Borussia Monchengladbach. Wolfsburg had topped the Bundesliga after winning their first four games of the new season. Then they drew at home with Eintracht Frankfurt, before giving away a lead and losing 3-1 at Hoffenhem. Midweek saw Wolfsburg again take the lead but only drew 1-1 at home with Sevilla in the Champions League. They have only one loss in their last five home games in the Bundesliga.  Wolfsburg have a great  home league record against this weekend's opponents with no loss since 2003.

Borussia Monchengladbach are down in 11th place after a slow start to the season. They have seven points from their six games, putting them six points behind Wolfsburg and only two above the relegation zone. Monchengladbach earned one point from their first three league games, though that was a home 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich. Two of the last three games have been won One against Arminia Bielefeld (who are in the bottom three) and last week a 1-0 home win over Borussia Dortmund. Both wins were at home though where all their league points have been earned. On their travels, Seven goals have been conceded in three away league losses this season. It's a long-term problem with just three wins in their last 17 away league fixtures. Back Wolfsburg to get the win here.
