Wolfsburg take on Gent and the winners of this tie are the team every other team wants to face in the last eight. It's likely to be Wolfsburg as the German side lead the tie 3-2 from the away leg. This tie really should be over because Wolfsburg led 3-0 in the first leg only for the Belgian side to hit back with two late goals to give them some hope. Wolfsburg should still qualify though because they are much stronger at home than on their travels. In the group stages they won all three of their home games, a decent performance considering that included PSV Eindhoven and Manchester United. Form in the Bundesliga is improving too with a good 2-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday increasing their hopes of at least getting into the Europa League next season. Gent only on at Lyon in the group stages losing to both Valencia and Zenit St Petersburg. That's not form which indicates a comeback could be made by Gent in this game. I think Wolfsburg will get the win here and make it into the last eight for the first time ever.
