West Ham entertains Wolves in this Premier League match at the Olympic Stadium. The hosts are in sixth place with 42 points while the visitors are hot on their heels in seventh spot with 40 points. West Ham currently occupy a Europa League spot but will be eyeing the more lucrative Champions League spots. They are just four points behind Manchester United who are in fourth spot. West Ham have lost two of their last five home matches and will need to win their home games to have any chance of finishing in the top four. The Hammers won this fixture 4-0 last year after having lost three of their previous four home matches against Wolves. They are looking for back to back home wins over them for the first time since the 2004 season.

Wolves will be disappointed coming into this match after losing 2-1 away to Arsenal in their last match. They led for much of the match but succumbed to two late goals with the winner coming in the 95th minute and to add insult to injury it was an own goal. Despite the loss they are just two points behind West Ham with a game in hand. They have lost just two of their last nine league matches but worryingly both those defeats have been in the last five games. Wolves success this season is mainly down to having one of the best defensive records in the league. They have only conceded 20 goals this season which is the joint third best record only behind Manchester City and Chelsea.
