This is a vital game for the European hopes of both of these clubs. West Ham start the weekend in fifth place, four places and six points above visitors Tottenham. West Ham are only outside the top four on goal difference, though that gap will widen if Chelsea avoid defeat against Southampton. The Hammers may drop to sixth if Liverpool can beat Everton on Saturday. West Hamhae only lost one of their last ten league games, a home loss to Liverpool. Three of the last four at home have been won but those have been achieved against sides all in the bottom six, including both the bottom two. Home league clean sheets aren't a regular occurrence with only two in the last eight. Both teams have got onto the scoresheet in six of the last eight. West Ham managing to keep out Son and Kane looks a tough task.

Tottenham had a good win in the Europa League on Thursday evening. That was a much needed win after losing five of their last six league and cup games. They still have hopes of making it into Europe next season. Tottenham are in the EFL Cup final and still in with a chance in the Europa League. Losing this game though would make it much harder to qualify for Europe via their league position. Going nine points behind West Ham would be hard to peg back. Only one of their last seven away league games has been won. A bit of a change after starting the season with four straight wins. Four of their last six away league games have seen both teams score. A bet on that market is the suggested wager.
