These two sides met in the Carabao Cup last season and it was West Ham who went to Wembley and knocked Tottenham out.  This time around they meet at the London Stadium, where Tottenham won a league match in October. The line-ups will be a lot different for this game as is always the case in this competition. It'll be even more the case for Tottenham as this game takes place on Thursday, just a few days after they host Manchester City in the Premier League. It'll be changes aplenty for Tottenham and a chance for fringe players such as Lamela, Wanyama and Aurier to get some time on the pitch. Tottenham had to go to penalties to beat Watford in the third round of the Carabao Cup and will be hoping for an easier route this time.

West Ham were unlucky not to win at Leicester on Saturday, though post-match events make that result rather insignificant. The late equalizer meant it's now three games in a row without a win for the Hammers and they are 13th in the league only three points above the bottom three. They have big injury problems at present with both Yamalenko and Arnautovic out at present. West Ham have only won two of their last six home games in all competitions and with confidence not that high at present, Tottenham can be backed to get the win.
