West Ham United have improved their chances of staying in the Premier League with a run of four points from their last two games. Three more points look to be on the way as they welcome 19th placed Stoke City to the London Stadium. The Hammers start the weekend six points above the bottom three and like their opponents will be hoping sides at the foot of the table get bad results over the weekend before this game kicks off on Monday evening. It's a vital game for West Ham as they have a tough run-in after this match with five games against five of the top nine in the table. Three points from this match is so important and they have only lost one of their six home league games and that nearly caused a riot. 

The visitors are in deep trouble at present and it's hard to see how they will survive relegation. Stoke City are one from bottom in the table and four points from safety going into this weekend's fixtures. They will be praying that teams at the bottom don't win before they head to West Ham but unless they start picking up points it doesn't matter what other teams do. They have gone nine league games without a win earning just four points. The last four games have all been lost and they are on a 12-match run without an away league win. Throw in the fact they have the worst defence in the league and you can see why the tip here is for a West Ham home win, the bet of the weekend as far as this previewer is concerned.
