Last season, West Ham United were battling relegation towards the end of the campaign and this season they are in the chase for Europa League football. They will get that if only they can avoid defeat at home to Southampton on Sunday. The Hammers have 62 points going to this game and are placed sixth while Southampton are 14th with 43 points going to the final day. For a better part of the second half of the season, West Ham looked like they’d get Champions League football, which signals just how much work David Moyes has put in the team.
