West Ham vs Southampton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

It's been another disappointing season for West Ham United. Lots of money was spent in the summer transfer window but it's unlikely to even bring about a top ten finish in the Premier League. They have had injuries to their key players but they have still only managed 13 league wins this season, just four more than Cardiff City who are in the relegation zone. They have only won one of their last five league games and that was a shock 1-0 win at Tottenham last weekend. At home, West Ham have only lost one of their last five but managed to earn just one point from the last two.

Southampton have managed to survive in the Premier League for another season. They are only two places above the bottom three but seven points clear of Cardiff with two games to go. The Saints have only won nine league games this season and have failed to win any of the last three. The last two have been drawn though as they edged their way to safety mainly because Brighton and Cardiff are barely picking up any points. Away from home, Southampton have won only one of their last six Premier League fixtures but scored in all but one of those matches. A difficult game to predict with nothing at stake but a bet on over 2.5 goals looks a likely winner with these two clubs having conceded 115 league goals between them this season.
