West Ham United will seek to get back to winning ways in the league when they host Sheffield United on Saturday. The hosts arrive for this match in seventh place in the standings while Sheffield are rock bottom. West Ham have lost their last two league matches which resulted in them dropping out of the top five. David Moyes' men have racked up 10 points and sit four points adrift of the top five. But as they won in midweek in the League Cup, the Hammers will be confident of coming away with all three points here. West Ham advanced to the fourth round of the League Cup thanks to a 1-0 win away to Lincoln City on Wednesday. The Londoners have a crucial Europa League tie coming up next week away to Freiburg and a win will be the perfect warm-up.

Sheffield United seem to have hit a block and maybe a coaching change is what can save them before it is too late. The Blades have not won this season across all competitions and have lost seven of their last eight games. Last time out they were on the end of an 8-0 thrashing by Newcastle at home. The historic defeat saw eight different players add their names to the scoresheet, the first time this had happened in the Premier League. The abysmal showing shows that Sheffield could again be one of the teams going down. Saturday's visitors have already conceded 17 goals in just six matches which is the league's leading tally.
