West Ham vs Olympiacos Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

West Ham's unbeaten run in European competition ended when losing 2-1 at Olympiacos in their last group game. The Irons went through all of last season unbeaten in the Europa Conference League that they won by beating Fiorentina in the final. They began well in this group with a come-from-behind 3-1 home win over TBC who are bottom of this group with only one point. That was followed by a win in Germany defeating Freiburg 2-1 but then came the loss by that same scoreline away in Greece. After this game, West Ham travel to TSC before ending the group with a home game against Freiburg. Current form is a worry though with no wins in six games including four of the last five being lost. The only recent win was a 3-1 home victory over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup. West Ham have only lost one of their last five home games and seven of the last nine have seen both teams score. Their most recent game was a 3-2 away loss to Brentford that has left them 12th in the Premier League.

Olympiacos are two points behind the qualifying positions so a win for them would really boost their hopes of a top two finish. With a home game against TSC still to be played and a three point lead over them at present, finishing third and being moved into the Europa Conference League are looking good. The Greek side began this group with a 3-2 home loss to Freiburg, conceding a late winner. It was the same story away at TSC and they returned home with a 2-2 draw. Their only group win so far came with that victory over West Ham. They are second in the Greek Super League but lost 4-2 at home to PAOK at the weekend. Five of their last six Europa League games have seen both teams score.
