West Ham made a bright start to the season but have slipped to 10th in the table after a run of just two points from four games. They look to get back into winning ways with a home victory over Newcastle United who are one place and a single point above the relegation zone. West Ham had been as high as third in the league and there was talk of European football next season. Their last four league games haven't gone well. They've lost to both Crystal Palace and Everton and only drawn with Bournemouth and Sheffield United. Despite their poor run of form, West Ham are only three points behind fifth placed Arsenal. Home form has seen the Hammers beat Norwich City and Manchester United. They will be hoping for a return to form in this game.

Newcastle United drew at home with Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend. They are 17th in the table and still having problems scoring goals. Just six have been scored in ten league games and still no player has managed to score twice in the league for them this season. Newcastle have just one win in their last eight league and cup matches. Away form has been poor with four out of five league games lost with three goals scored. The last three away league matches have all been lost with nine goals conceded. West Ham are the tip to win this match.
