West Ham vs Liverpool Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Liverpool will continue their search to secure a Europa League qualification spot when they head to the London Stadium to take on 13th placed West Ham on Wednesday evening. The visitors are in the midst of arguably their worst season under Jurgen Klopp and are currently in seventh place in the Premier League. They've managed just 50 points after 31 matches and are three points behind Spurs in fifth, with a game in hand. Liverpool managed to pull off a 3-2 win in their last match after being pushed all the way by a spirited Nottingham Forest side; however, that was only their second win in their last six league matches which also included two draws and two losses. The visitor's biggest struggle this year has been their away form, managing just four wins in 16 matches on the road, along with eight losses and four draws. Liverpool won the reverse fixture 1-0 back in October, but their opponents have improved significantly since then, and the hosts will need to be at their best to complete the double over them in this one. 

Meanwhile, West Ham spent most of the season in the bottom three, but since the start of last month, The Hammers suddenly clicked into gear and now are almost certain to avoid the drop and look like they will comfortably finish the season safely in mid-table. The hosts are currently in 13th place with 34 points after 31 matches, seven points clear of Everton, who are the first side below the red line. West Ham won their last match convincingly 4-0 over Bournemouth, which extended their unbeaten run to five matches in all competitions, three in the league. West Ham have also put together an excellent run in the Europa Conference League and will take on AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of the semi-final next month. Much of West Ham’s comeback this season has been down to their home form in recent weeks, where they've only been beaten once in their last eight matches, and come into this one unbeaten in their last two, including an excellent 2-2 draw against the league leaders Arsenal last week. The hosts will know that Liverpool are never an easy opponent, but following a couple of big home results in recent weeks, they will fancy their chances of causing another upset in this match.
