West Ham start the weekend in fifth place just a point behind Manchester City in fourth. A Champions League place really is a possibility and three points against Crystal Palace looks extremely likely. West Ham are in great form at present, especially at home with 18 points from their last eight home league games including five wins out of the last six. They face a Crystal Palace side who want to think themselves grateful that no side down the bottom is launching a fantastic comeback. Palace haven't won a league game all year and have just two points from their last ten league games. They haven't won an away league game since December 19 when they beat Stoke. Palace are seven points above the relegation zone, virtually eight because of their superior goal difference. They still have to play both Norwich and Newcastle so could yet be dragged into the relegation fight. All very strange for a side in the FA Cup semi-finals. I can't see anything but a West Ham win here.
