West Ham vs Burnley Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

West Ham United and Burnley have had mixed results in their recent matches and as they face off in the 18th round of matches in the Premier League, both will be gunning for three points. Hosts West Ham United are coming from a hard fought 1-0 win over Stockport County in the third round of the FA Cup and will be here seeking a third straight win and a fifth unbeaten outing. They have three straight clean sheets going to this game and have failed to score in one of the last five while scoring two or more in one of the five. In the Premier League, West Ham have won one of their last five matches and failed to score in two of their last five. It is consistent that they are not scoring a lot of goals and as a result are winless in their last three home games in the league, losing one and drawing two but Toma Soucek will be key, having scored thrice in the last five home league matches. They have no clean sheet in the last four league matches at home.

Burnley, on the other hand, go to this game on a somewhat improved run, winning 15 points from a possible 30 in the last 10 matches. This is in comparison with the six points in the earlier 10. In their last match, Burnley were unlucky to lose 1-0 to Manchester United, having earlier beaten MK Dons on penalties in the FA Cup. They will be seeking a return to winning ways but just like West Ham United, they have not been very expressive in attack, scoring two or more in just one of their last 17 matches. It has also not been great in defence in the last few games, the team keeping one clean sheet in five while they have conceded two or more in just one of their last 11 games. One area that Burnley will need to improve on is their form away from home; they have one win in the nine league matches this season. They have also failed to score in five of their last six away league matches and scored just one goal in the last seven.
