West Ham United begin the weekend in 14th place but that's only three points above the Premier League relegation zone. They host seventh placed Burnley who are chasing a place in Europe next year and are only five points behind Arsenal who are sixth in the table. West Ham will be glad to be back on home territory after two successive 4-1 defeats at Liverpool and Swansea City and their next two league games are both at home, though they have to wait until March 31st before they take on Southampton in what will be a real six-pointer down at the bottom of the table. The Hammers have gone five league and cup games unbeaten at home and they need to be piling up the points at home for the rest of the season, Burnley are seventh in the table which isn't the most glowing reference for the Premier League. They beat Everton 2-1 at home last weekend and that ended a run of 11 league games without a win and stil they're only five points off sixth place. After a home win over Stoke took them into fourth place, some were mad enough to think Burnley might be able to challenge for a Champions League place but they are now 18 points off fourth. Goals as ever are a bit of a problem for Burnley with just 24 league goals scored this season, just the 59 less than Manchester City, They have only conceded 26 and only the two Manchester clubs and Spurs have conceded less. Burnley have gone seven away league games without a win and scored just three times in those matches with two coming at Old Trafford where they blew a 2-0 lead. A bet on under 2.5 goals in this game is the suggested bet.
