West Ham vs Brighton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

West Ham United have won ten of their 19 games in the Premier League this season. The Irons begin this game seven points behind fourth place and are looking to get a fourth consecutive win in the Premier League.  The gap can be narrowed to four points after Arsenal lost at Fulham on Sunday. West Ham are also six points behind fifth placed Tottenham so they really need to get something from this game. They have had wins over Sheffield United, Manchester United and Arsenal, all without conceding a goal. West Ham have won four of their last five games in all competitions with one defeat in the last eight. Home form at the London Stadium has sometimes been a problem but not in recent weeks. Three of their last four home fixtures have ended in victory. The reverse fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion was played in August and the Hammers won that 3-1.

Brighton and Hove Albion also had a good 2023 and finished sixth in last season's Premier League. This season they've already reached the last 16 of the Europa League so have a lot to look forward to in 2024. Winning their first game of the new year will see them rise to sixth in the table. At present they are ten points behind fourth placed Arsenal. 2023 certainly had a spectacular ending as they beat Tottenham 4-2 at home and led 4-0 at one stage in the second half. That was a welcome league win after going three fixtures without a win. On the road this season, Brighton have only won three of their nine Premier League fixtures with four games lost. Their first two away league games of the season produced wins but since then the Seagulls have only won one out of seven and conceded at least twice in five of them. We believe West Ham can win this match.
