Arsenal will be marching right into a second London derby in as many weeks when they head to West Ham United this Sunday. They beat Tottenham Hotspur in the earlier one and currently placed 10th on 41 points, will be looking to sink their fifth placed hosts who have so far garnered 48 points. West Ham have been impressive this season and it is hard to imagine they struggled to avoid relegation last season. They are well in their rights to set Champions League targets, being just three points below fourth placed Chelsea and with a game in hand. The Hammers go to this game with three wins in their last five matches though an unfortunate Craig Dawson own goal in the last game saw them lose 1-0 to Manchester United. The team has improved in attack lately, scoring in eight of their last 10 league matches and Jesse Lingard has been key in this aspect, with his four goals in the seven matches since his move from Manchester United. David Moyes’ side has three straight wins at home and has scored at least two goals in each of these three games. In the last eight home matches they’ve lost just once and won five. Generally, they’ve been good at home in the league this season, winning eight of the 14 matches played so far. However, they do not have a very healthy run against Arsenal, winning just once in the last 19 meetings. Going to this game, West Ham have lost each of their last three matches against the Gunners.

Arsenal have won six of their last seven meetings with West Ham and coming from a home loss in the Europa League, they will want to get back to winning ways in this clash. The Gunners are eyeing a place in Europe, at least in the Europa League, the position currently occupied by West Ham United, who are seven points ahead. In the 1-0 loss to Olympiakos in the Europa League on Wednesday, Arsenal failed to score for the first time in six matches. That defeat broke Arsenal’s unbeaten run in the previous five matches but they have four wins in the last six games. They have three wins and a loss in the last five league games and scored two or more in three of them but have no clean sheet in the last seven league matches. Away from home in the league, the Gunners have four wins and two losses in the last seven matches, and have won six of their 14 away league matches this season.
