Their two losses inside the last five matches were against sides in the top six and West Brom will hope to avoid the same here. West Brom’s last home match ended in a loss to Leicester City. The 2-1 outcome means West Brom’s three match winning streak was halted.

Stoke City will be gunning for their first win in eight matches when they take on West Brom. They halted a four-match losing run with a 1-1 draw at home to Swansea last time out. It is their form in defence that’s a major concern now. In their last five matches Stoke City haven't managed a clean sheet. Three times in those five matches, they conceded two or more goals. Meanwhile, Stoke City failed to score in four of their last seven matches, a marker of their inconsistency. Stoke’s 2-1 loss to Plymouth Argyle was the third straight winless outing away from home. It will be tougher for them having in mind that they lost in the last two league meetings with West Bromwich Albion.
