Manchester United had a narrow 1-0 win at home to Bournemouth on Wednesday but are still 11 points behind league leaders Manchester City. All they can do is keep on trying to win and hope somehow something goes wrong with the table-toppers. United have had a few problems on their travels with notable defeats at Huddersfield Town and Chelsea. Their last two away games have both ended in triumph though with seven goals scored against Arsenal and Watford. United have only lost one of their last six games and have to be considered strong favourites for this match. West Brom fans haven't celebrated a league win since August 19 and are down to 17th in the table only out of the relegation zone on goal difference. By the time this game begins they could be in the bottom three and if both Palace and West Ham avoid defeat in their games this week, Albion will start one from bottom. The arrival of Alan Pardew as their manager hasn't been a great success so far with him yet to see his team score, let alone win a match. They hit a low point last weekend when losing 1-0 away to Swansea City but did well to get a goalless draw at Anfield in midweek. They have only won one of their last 12 home league games and this looks like being an unlucky 13 with United getting the away win in this match.
