West Brom vs Leicester Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

After a win in midweek, West Bromwich Albion look to make it tnree successive league victories. The fifth placed side have their work cut out to do so as they host Championship leaders Leicester City. The Magpies are in the promotion play-off places but ten points behind the second automatic promotion spot, currently held by Ipswich Town. West Brom beat Ipswich at the Hawthorns last Saturday and followed that up with a 1-0 away win at Cardiff City. That made it five wins in their last six league fixtures. The other was a 2-1 away defeat at Southampton who are currently third in the Championship. Home form has been strong for Albion this season with six out of nine league games being won. They have won the last three, two over sides currently in the top six. Their only home loss has been to Huddersfield Town in September and they are unbeaten in six games since then with five clean sheets kept.

Leicester City can go four points clear at the top of the table if winning this match. The Foxes begin this match eight points above third placed Southampton so an immediate return to the Premier League is looking good at present. Recent form hasn't been so good though with the last four league games only producing four points. Two successive games were lost before the international break took place. Since the season has resumed, City have beaten Watford 2-0 at home but then only drew 1-1 at bottom-of-the-table Sheffield Wednesday in midweek. Leicester have won seven of their nine away league fixtures but have only one point from the last two. We go for a double chance bet on West Bromwich Albion to win or draw this match.
