West Brom vs Cardiff Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

West Bromwich Albion face Cardiff City on Tuesday night in a game between two teams with very different ambitions this season. For West Brom manager Carlos Corberan, it is about pushing on to secure at least a spot in the playoffs and hopefully reel in the teams above them in the table over the remainder of the season. The Baggies have the third best home record in the Championship this season, but if they are to achieve that aim, their away form must improve considerably. The Baggies rank 17th in the away form table, with just four wins, three draws and y defeats on the road. At home, they are in the middle of a fine streak of form, unbeaten in their last five with four wins in that run. With Grady Diangana due back from African Cup of Nations duty, the Baggies should feel confident of earning the three points here, especially after a 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town at the weekend, which saw them concede a heartbreaking 93rd minute equaliser to the Tractor Boys. 

Cardiff City come into this game in the somewhat unusual position of much preferring to play away from home than at home at the moment. The Welsh side have won three of their last four away games, but have not won a home game since December 9th when beating Millwall at the Cardiff City Stadium. They suffered yet another home loss at the weekend when Preston came away from Wales with a 2-0 victory, a result which left Cardiff City 13th in the table. Only one of their last five games has seen both teams score, while West Brom have only been involved in one game in the last four where both teams have found the net. That suggests goals may be thin on the ground at the Hawthorns on Tuesday.
