West Brom vs Brighton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

This is the only 3pm kick-off in the Premier League on Saturday, oh how times have changed. 19th placed West Brom just have to get a win at home to Brighton and Hove Albion who are 16th. Albion won promotion to the Premier League last season but look to be on their way back to the Championship. They start the weekend with only Sheffield United below them and 11 points from safety. It's virtually 12 due to their appalling goal difference. West Brom have gone seven league games without a win since a 3-2 win at Wolves. Three of the last five have been drawn but they need wins to have any hope of surviving relegation. Home form has seen them gone seven league fixtures without a victory. They've only won one home league game all season and that was against bottom side Sheffield United. Only twice this season have they managed to score more than once in a Premier League home game. There was the 3-3 draw with Chelsea and the recent 2-2 draw with bottom three side Fulham. West Brom led in both of those games. They have failed to score in four of their last six home league matches.

Brighton and Hove Albion have been in good form of late. They had gone six league matches without defeat before losing at home to Crystal Palace on Monday. They are four points clear of the bottom three but know they're not safe yet. A defeat here and win for Fulham over Sheffield United this weekend and the panic bells will ring. Brighton have only one loss in their last six away league games (that was at Manchester City) and have two wins in their last three. They just don't score many goals though with only five in the last eight. Only 14 goals have been scored in 12 away league fixtures, nine coming in four of them. Go for under 2.5 goals in this match and a double chance side bet on Brighton.
