It's the start of another season and the West Brom quest for 40 points and safety begins. That's the usual story at the Hawthorns and last season despite being in the top ten, their season ended with just 12 points from the last 15 games and just a single point from the last five. A feature of the part of the season when they did play decent football was that they barely got a point against the top six sides and piled up points against teams below them. The summer has seen them sign Jay Rodriguez from Southampton and Ahmed Hagazi but lose Darren Fletcher. This could be a season where they might be glad to get 40 points if their thin looking squad is hit by injuries. Bournemouth will be delighted to make it to their third season in the Premier League with barely a sign of a relegation battle so far. They have done well in the transfer window so far signing Nathan Ake and Asmir Bergovic from Chelsea and Jermaine Defoe on a free transfer. Defence was their biggest problem last year with 67 goals conceded, if they can tighten that up then another mid-table finish is likely.  Improving their away form is also important with just three wins in the league last season. A bet on both teams to score looks the one to go for in this game.
