Fifth placed West Bromwich Albion look to continue their good home form in the Championship. The Baggies host Blackburn Rovers who are down in 17th place at the start of the weekend. West Brom are three points above seventh spot with the sides finishing third to sixth going into the promotion play-offs. That's the way Albion are likely to have to go to get promotion as they are 13 points behind the top two. Their home league form at the Hawthorns is strong with eight out of 13 games being won this season and only ten goals conceded. The Throstles did lose their last league game away at Swansea City but their only loss in the last ten at home has been to leaders Leicester City.

Like their opponents Blackburn won in the FA Cup third round last week. Rovers are struggling for form in the Championship though with just one point from their last five league games. A form guide for the last five Championship matches has them in bottom place. Rovers are ten points above the relegation zone but only eight adrift of the last promotion play-off position. They'll have to improve to get back into contention though as they'd lost four successive league games before drawing at home to Rotherham, On the road they have won five league games but lost seven and conceded 25 goals. Each of their last four away league fixtures have been lost with 13 goals conceded. We go for West Brom to win this game.
