Watford are in 14th place in the Premier League but have no relegation worries. They have an FA Cup semi-final appearance at Wembley against Crystal Palace to look forward to so they might just have their mind on other things going into this Premier League game against Stoke. It's been an up and down season for the Hornets, a bit like some of the dodgy Elton John albums he put out after some exceptional ones in the 70s.  Watford have gone three league games without a win in the Premier League and have failed to score in any of them. Goals have been pretty scarce recently with just two in the last three games. Home form has seen just one win in the last six and no goals by the home side in their last three. Stoke are often involved in low scoring affairs too. They are in ninth place, four points off the top six and a Europa League place. They'll be hoping either Manchester United or West Ham can win the FA Cup and get into the top four thus freeing up seventh place for a Europa League qualification. They only have one win the last three league games though so a win here and at home to Swansea are really important before a trio of games against Liverpool, Spurs and Manchester City. I think those looking for goals aplenty might have too look elsewhere this weekend and go for under 2.5 goals here.
