Watford vs Manchester City Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Watford had won four league games in a row leading into the Christmas period. On Boxing Day they drew at Chelsea and then lost to Spurs at home on Monday. Their difficult festive schedule continues with this home game against Manchester City. Watford have already lost at home this season to Arsenal, Palace, Man Utd and Spurs though they did manage to beat an out-of-sorts Liverpool recently. Ighalo has now scored in his last six Premier League games and while he continues in that form they have a good chance of staying in contention for at least a Europa League place. Manchester City have four points from their two Christmas fixtures and are third in the table three points behind new leaders Arsenal. They have one big problem though and that's their away form. A draw at Leicester wasn't a bad result but again City failed to win or score on their Premier League travels. The last six away league games have produced just three points and two goals. That's not going to win them a Premier League title regardless of however many goals they score at home. Aguero didn't look fully fit at Leicester so that remains another problem. Again this is difficult to predict the result of but with City struggling to score on their travels a bet on under 2.5 goals being scored in the game looks a good one here.
