Watford hosting Hull City in the Championship this Saturday makes one of the key games to follow. Hull City are in the chase for a playoff spot while Watford need a point to secure survival. The hosts haven't had a great season in 2023/24 but will be eyeing a double over Hull City in this game. Watford won the reverse fixture 2-1 but don’t seem to be in shape for a repeat, coming here on a five-match winless run. Their tally of 52 points is eight ahead of the relegation spots. Heading into this game, the Hornets have actually managed just two wins in 18 matches. A run that has them on 12 wins in 43 Championship matches places them firmly as the underdogs here. The Tigers are coming from a 3-0 win over QPR, their third unbeaten outing and second win in that period. Liam Rosenoir’s side has lost only three times in the last 15 matches but will want to better the returns having won just seven in that run. They have done well on the road too in recent matches. Hull City have suffered just one loss in their last seven away matches, winning five.
