Watford are bottom of the table, seven points from safety and without a manager. They host Crystal Palace who are seventh in the table but only two points behind the Europa League place. It's looking grim for Watford unless they can start getting some wins. They have only won one league game this season and that was away at Norwich who are 19th in the table. Since that victory, Watford have lost three league games in a row, the most recent being a 2-0 away loss to Leicester City. That was their fifth loss in six league games as the gap between them and safety continues to grow. Home form has the Hornets still searching for their first league win of the season. Three of the last four have ended in draws but Watford have only managed to score in one of those games. It's 11 home league games without a win for them now.

Crystal Palace have been losing a few games of late but they were against sides currently in the top four. Back against the lesser sides in the league, Palace have recorded wins in the last week over bot Burnley and Bournemouth and both with clean sheets. That has taken them to seventh in the table (at time of writing) and only a couple of points behind fifth spot. Palace have only lost one of their last four away league games and have three wins on the road so far this season. Watford are low on confidence and after this game, face Liverpool away and Manchester United at home. They desperately need points but the tip here is a double chance bet on Palace to get the win or draw from this match.
