Watford were many pundits choices to be struggling to stay up this season. Not too surprising after a terrible second half of the season particularly on their travels. However, this season so far has seen them win both  of their opening two fixtures.  Their opening win came at home to Brighton and Hove Albion who are notoriously bad away from home. That 2-0 win was followed by victory at Burnley who had been playing Europa League football in Turkey a few days beforehand. It was an important win though as they hadn't scored an away goal since January 2 and all of a sudden three came along in one game. The loss of Richarlison to Everton hasn't seemed to affect them either.

For Crystal Palace, having three points in August is a massive improvement on last season when it took them to October to get to that figure. A 2-0 win at Fulham got them off to a good start and they played well throughout the game against Liverpool despite losing 2-0. There seems to be little chance of them ending up in a relegation battle this season and it'll be interesting to see how they get on in this game. Palace are unbeaten in their last five away league games and that includes a goalless draw at Watford towards the end of last season. The suggested bet here is the double chance on Palace to get a win or a draw out of this match.
