Watford welcomes Brentford to Vicarage Road for this Premiership encounter. The home team are currently in 19th position with 22 points while the visitors are in 13th position with 36 points. Watford are in serious relegation trouble as they are six points form safety but have played an extra game than Burnley who are above them in the relegation zone. They have won just one of their last seven matches with five defeats and a draw. Watford have incredible lost nine consecutive matches at home and have only picked up seven points in their home matches this season. They have more than double the number of points in their away matches having picked up 15 points on their travels. If they lose this match they will become only the third team in Premiership history to lose 10 home matches in a row. They have lost their last two matches against Brentford which is the same number they lost in 16 previous meetings between the clubs.

Brentford have had a recent resurgence of form and have won four of their last five matches. The highlight during this run was their 4-1 demolition of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. They have won their last two matches with an aggregate score of 6-1. Brentfords last two wins were all the more impressive as they beat teams in the top six namely Chelsea and West Ham. They are looking to complete the league double over Watford for the first time since the 1976/77 season when they were playing in the fourth tier of English football. Brentford are however without a win in their last seven visits to Vicarage Road. They are attempting to win three matches in a row for the first time since 1947 in top flight football.
