Wales vs N. Ireland Prediction & Betting Tips - International Friendlies
by | in Football Predictions
Two sides not used to being in the finals of major championships meet in a friendly. Wales haven't been in a major finals since the 1958 World Cup so this is an important game for them as they prepare themselves for Euro 2016. They face England, Russia and Slovakia so have it all to do to qualify for the knock-out stages. Wales are 17th in the FIFA World rankings, 11 points clear of Northern Ireland. Wales finished second in their group only losing to Bosnia and Herzegovina in their penultimate match. One big problem for the Welsh side is the absence of their top player Gareth Bale for this friendly. At least it'll give them a chance to see how they'll play just in case Bale happened to be injured for Euro 2016. Northern Ireland managed to win their qualifying group but didn't win either of their away games against the other top sides in the group (Romania and Hungary). They certainly did well in their qualifying group and this should be an interesting game. Hard to predict without Bale playing and you wonder how strong the teams will be. I think a bet on both teams to score might pay off here.
