Wales were delighted at qualifying for the European Championships but they weren't just there to make up the numbers. They lost to England but still won their group then beat Northern Ireland and Belgium to get through to the last four. But for suspensions and injury they may well have made it to the final. That's all history now though as they aim to reach the World Cup finals for the first time since 1958. Austria, Serbia and Ireland won't be easy opponents but they should have a good start to their qualifying campaign against Moldova. Their opponents finished bottom of their Euro 2016 qualifying group scoring just four goals and earning just two points. They have only won three of their last 27 games and two of those were against Andorra with the other being against top nation Saudi Arabia. Wales should have few problems getting a win on a -1 handicap but tougher games lie ahead for them.
