Vissel Kobe vs Tottenham Hotspur Prediction & Betting Tips - J.League World Challenge
by Ian John | in Football Predictions
Tottenham Hotspur return to Japan's National Stadium for the first time in 31 years to face Vissel Kobe in the J.League World Challenge. The match is part of Spurs' two-week Asian tour which will also see them take on a Korean select team, before a final friendly against Bayern Munich. Will our prediction for the match back Spurs for the win, or will the Ushi (cows) celebrate a third J.League World Challenge win for Japanese teams?
The current Japanese League Champions will give their English opponents a stern test. Manager Takayuki Yoshida has led his team to fourth place in the current J.League campaign, where they tie seven points behind current J.League leaders Machida Zelvia heading into the summer break. Unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions, Kobe will likely be connecting on striker Yuya Osako, who scored 24 goals in 39 games last season for the J.League Champions.
Vissel's last game was in the Emperor's Cup, where they defeated Tokushuma Vortis 2-0 to move into the next round of that domestic cup competition.
Tottenham's return to the Far East may have taken 31 years, but they will hope for a better return from their fixtures. Ange Postecoglou's team has had an impressive warm-up to the trip, defeating Hearts 5-1 and, most recently, QPR 2-0, both on the road, before making the long journey to Japan.
Last time in Japan, Spurs played three games, winning one, drawing one and losing one. Postecoglou will be hoping to improve on that and ensure his team's fine pre-season form can continue on their two-week tour of Japan and South Korea.

Our Vissel Kobe vs Tottenham Hotspur Prediction
Our prediction for the J.League World Challenge Final Vissel Kobe vs. Tottenham Hotspur is: Tottenham to win and both teams to score.
Tottenham's pre-season form is good and they have been scoring plenty of goals. Vissel Kobe though are a dangerous team and are likely to offer a threat of their own going forward. Especially seeing as they are playing in their home nation.
We have seen a couple of these World Challenge Finals offer plenty of goals previously, such as Manchester City's 5-3 win in this game last year. This fixture could well turn out to be a similarly high-scoring encounter.
2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer
One of the worst feelings when placing a football bet is when the team that you have backed has gone into a multiple-goal lead only to be clawed back to a draw or to lose the game in question. This is something that bet365 has rectified for their bettors courtesy of this offer. If the team that you backed takes a two-goal lead your bet will be paid out as a winner. That is any two-goal lead so 2-0, 3-1, 4-2 etc will all be paid out early as a winner if your team is in that position. This is available in 80 different competitions including the major leagues across Europe and can be played on the full-time result market. Singles and multiples are both valid for this offer but you cannot bet on enhanced price markets. As with most promotions, if you cash out a bet in full, the bet will no longer be available for the offer in question. It also cannot be used if you bet on the draw on a game.
All tips are fully researched and given in good faith, but profits cannot be guaranteed.
