Both sides are just three games away from winning the Europa League and getting a place in the Champions League. That's not so vital for Villarreal who look set to qualify for the top tournament via fourth place in La Liga. For Liverpool though this really is going to be their only route into the Champions League. Both sides have impressive records in the Europa League this season. Villarreal have won all six of their home games so far and it wasn't until Sparta Prague put one past them in the quarter final that they'd conceded a home goal. That'll make them difficult to beat here but Liverpool will be taking to heart the fact Villarreal have only won two of their away games in the Europa League this season. Also of interest will be the fact the Spanish side aren't having a good run in La Liga with two defeats in their last three games. Liverpool had that incredible comeback against Dortmund in the quarter finals but the fact they drew in Germany was just as good a result. Liverpool are still unbeaten in the Europa League this season and Klopp's experience is really helping. They have drawn all three of their away games in the knockout stages (all under 2.5 goals scored) and won one and drew two of their away group games. I reckon a bet on under 2.5 goals could well be a winner here.
