Villarreal host Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals at the El Madrigal. The hosts beat Juventus in a comprehensive fashion in the Round of 16 clash after finishing second in their group. The visitors also went past Salzburg with ease in the previous round to set up this quarter-final tie with Villarreal. The Spanish side come into the game with two losses in a row in the La Liga to Cadiz and Levante respectively. Villarreal are steadily slipping out of the race for European football for the next season and this tie against Bayern Munich could be their window to Europe.
