Valencia have really gone off the boil in the last few weeks or so. Five league games have seen them earn four draws and a defeat. Home form is also a struggle for them with three straight draws, two against sides in the bottom half of the table. They are still unbeaten at home in the league but have drawn five of their eight home matches but the majority of those games have been against sides who won't be challenging for the title this season. They did manage a home draw with Barcelona though. Real Madrid had a comfortable win on Wednesday to keep on the tails of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Ronaldo would have had yet another hat-trick but for missing a penalty in the first half. They have lost two of their last three away games though losing at Sevilla and Villarreal. Both those teams though are red hot at home. With 13 goals in their last two games Madrid are in top form at present and can gain a narrow win here to keep their title challenge going.
