With their La Liga safety yet to be confirmed, 14th placed Valencia host second-placed Real Madrid this Sunday. They will be nervous as the relegation battle is still very close. Only three points separate them from 18th-placed Getafe ahead of this round with only four matches left to play. They may even be third at kick-off if Atlético defeat Osasuna, just before this match. The worry for Carlo Ancelotti is the way Real have been swinging with their form in the league. Two wins and losses each from their last four matches underlines the concerns over low motivation. Worryingly, Madrid have struggled on the road in the recent matches. They have lost three of their last four away league games to go with three straight road trip defeats in all competitions.
