Valencia and Osasuna go head-to-head in their next La Liga outing as both look to build on wins last time out. In 19th place, Los Che will bank on home advantage and recent form when facing Los Rojillos. Read on for our prediction of this match.

An unlikely 2-0 win against Girona ended Valencia’s wait for a first win of the season. Luis Rioja and Dani Gómez scored in quick succession to lift Valencia off the bottom of the standings.

Playing a second straight home match, Valencia will feel this is a chance to rise even higher. They have bagged four points at home in the last two matches and have the platform to build on.

It will also fall in their favor that they’ve dominated recent meetings with Osasuna. In the last six, Valencia won four times.

Osasuna have had a much better season than Valencia, and will feel they can build on their three wins. Aimar Oroz scored the winning goal in the second half of their 2-1 victory against Las Palmas at home last weekend.

That, and Ante Budimir’s first half penalty were enough to relegate Alberto Moleiro’s goal to a mere consolation. It was also a welcome recovery after earlier falling 3-1 to Rayo Vallecano.

Now Osasuna will be attempting something they haven't done this season – winning away from home. The odds are definitely stacked against them as they have conceded seven times in their two away defeats.

This feeds into their poor away league record, having won just once in the last six. It will not help that in the last four matches against Valencia, they managed just a win.
