Barcelona will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they travel to the Mestalla to take on Valencia in their next La Liga matches. At home, they have just two wins and two clean sheets in 10 league matches; the wins have been against Elche and Villarreal.

Barcelona have registered three wins and a loss in their last five meetings with Valencia. They will feel more confident going to this game than in the first meeting this season, in which they still managed a 3-1 win. They are coming from two straight draws and will be going all out for a win this time, being 15 points behind leaders Real Madrid and hoping to consolidate fourth place. In their most recent game, Barcelona drew with Napoli in the Europa League, for the fourth time in five matches failing to keep a clean sheet. However, they are unbeaten in eight La Liga matches. In their last eight away matches, both sides have scored in six. Barcelona will still have defenders Gerrard Pique and Dani Alves suspended for this game and a number of injuries too to deal with but they should be able to cope.
