Fourth placed Valencia are 11 points clear of Sevilla in fifth and look odds on to be in the Champions League next season. They are only a point behind third placed Real Madrid and finishing ahead of them would be quite an achievement. Valencia are unbeaten in their last six league games and at home have won ten games with 32 points from 14 league games. Only Real Madrid and Villarreal have been able to get league wins at Valencia this season  There are usually plenty of goals in their home league games with nine out of the last 12 having over 2.5 goals scored in them and there should be a few more hitting the back of the net this weekend.

Alaves are down in 16th place but 11 points above the bottom three so their La Liga place looks pretty safe.  Form isn't good though with three defeats in their last four league matches. Away form is appalling with three wins and ten league defeats this season. They have only scored ten goals on their La Liga travels and six of their last seven away league games have seen over 2.5 goals scored in them but mainly by the opposition. A bet on over 2.5 goals in this match looks the best bet to go for.
