The United States of America (USA) host Ecuador in a friendly match. It's their third match under new boss Gregg Berhalter and he's made a good start to his reign. They have won both of their games with home wins over Panama and Costa Rica (not the hardest of tasks as fans of England and the Netherlands will tell you) with five goals scored and none conceded. It's a big improvement on the run of four defeats in five games that they suffered last year. Home form is good though with only one loss in the last five.

Ecuador, like their opponents, failed to reach the World Cup finals last year. They were never in the hunt and lost each of their last six qualifying matches. Form has recovered since then with only one defeat in their last six games and four victories. The defeat was a thrilling 4-3 loss in Qatar with them trailing 4-1 after 68 minutes but just failing to get back on level terms. Their last three away games have seen them get a draw in Oman but followed that with wins in Peru and Panama. The USA have made a good start under their new manager and they can get the win here.
