The USA are struggling in their attempt to qualify for the 2018 World Cup. They lie fourth in their group which would only get them into the play-offs and are only a point off being bottom in the six-team group. On June 8 they host bottom of the table Trinidad and Tobago and need to win that game. Hopefully they can boost their confidence with a home win over Venezuela. USA are unbeaten in their last three games with just one goal conceded with just one defeat in their last six home matches and three straight home sheets. Venezuela are already out of  the World Cup so it's friendlies for them until the next Copa America. They are bottom of the South American qualifying group with just six points from 14 games and that was at home to Bolivia who are one from bottom. Venezuela have gone three games without a win since that win over Bolivia  That's their only win in their last ten games. Go for a home win in this match.
