The season may have started slowly for Bayern Munich but the defending champions again top the Bundesliga. At suspension, they led the table by four points and will be confident of getting a win at 11th placed Union Berlin. 25 league games have produced 17 wins for Bayern with 73 goals scored. Their early season form wasn't good but they were on a great run when the Bundesliga was suspended in March. Their last ten league games have produced 28 points with 32 goals scored and just five conceded. Their last four have all been won with 15 goals scored. Away form is strong with five wins in a row and again the goals have been flowing with 20 of them in those games. By the time this game begins on Sunday, they may be just a point clear but a win in Berlin looks more than likely.

Union Berlin trail their opponents by 25 points and they have lost 13 league games this season. Their next few fixtures will determine what kind of battle they are going to be in. Only seven points separate them from the final Europa League qualifying position but they are only eight above the relegation play-offs. They have only won one of their last four league games and been beaten in five at home with just one victory in the last three. They have conceded 41 goals in the Bundesliga this season and it's hard to see that total not being worsened as they host Bayern Munich. Go for the league leaders to get the win here and be ahead at both half and full time.
